FAQ

Can I order now?

Not yet. This is a preview. The designs are early concepts and checkout is switched off.

Why is it called Robot Ronin?

In South Africa traffic lights are called robots. Our mascot is a ronin, a wandering samurai, who has to wait for the robot to turn green like everyone else.

Where do you ship?

The United States, Canada and Australia at launch. See Shipping.

How will I pay?

At launch we plan to offer card payment through Paystack, with PayPal as a second option. Card payments are processed in South African rand (ZAR) by Paystack and your card's bank converts the amount to your currency, so your statement may differ slightly from the US dollar price depending on your bank's exchange rate and fees.

What does "Stage 6" mean?

Load shedding is South Africa's rolling scheduled power cuts. The stage number says how much power is being cut. Stage 6 means a lot of candlelight.

What does "Now now" mean?

In South Africa "now now" means soon. Ish. Maybe. It's flexible.

Is the art original?

Yes. Robot Ronin and all our characters are our own designs. We don't use characters or images from existing anime, shows or memes.

What are the garments made of?

We'll publish the exact garment, fabric and size chart for each product before launch, once our print partners are confirmed.
